This programme is intended to enhance public speaking and confident oral expression among Rwandan youth. This is done regularly through Toastmasters and Debate clubs. There are currently 1 Toastmasters club, and 18 debate clubs.
The mentorship programme was created as a means of guiding young genocide survivors by pairing them with mentors. This programme provides life skills through youth conversations on various topics such as, financial fitness, career guidance, patriotism, and leadership skills. Two mentorship programmes have been held so far.
The Youth Forum Series brings together specific segments of youth and features exceptional speakers on topics ranging from professionalism, entrepreneurship, communication and economic self-reliance.
23 forums and 2 youth empowerment workshops have been held since 2007.
The Celebrating Young Rwandan Achievers (CYRWA) awards were established in December 2007 to honour outstanding young Rwandans who strive toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishments.
The award ceremony is held every 2 years. To date 22 young women and 15 young men have been rewarded for their contribution in various areas, such as: IT, leadership, entrepreneurship, art, sciences and community mobilisation.
