Mentorship Programme (2013 – To-date)
The mentorship programme was created to provide guidance to young genocide survivors by pairing them with mentors.
This programme provides life skills to youth through conversations on topics such as financial fitness, career guidance, patriotism, and leadership skills.
To-date, 2 mentorship programmes have been held targeting 24 to 35 year olds.
Through this project:
• 325 young women were linked with mentors,
• 200 young men were linked with mentors,
• Of the mentees 112 young women became mentors.
