  • How can a person get infected with HIV? How can a person get infected with HIV?

HIV can be found in blood, semen, vaginal fluid, and breast milk.

    HIV can be spread through:

    1. Sex without a condom.

    2. Sharing needles used for drugs.

    3. Contact with an infected person’s blood.

    4. A baby born to an HIV positive mother.

Hugging, kissing, eating or drinking with someone who has HIV will not spread HIV.
